Established in 2020, the We Grow Forest Foundation embarked on a noble mission to underscore the critical importance of ecological restoration. With steadfast determination, the Foundation aimed to provide accessible avenues for individuals and businesses to contribute meaningfully to environmental conservation. Through tireless efforts, their goals extended beyond mere rhetoric; they sought to foster a healthier climate, safeguard biodiversity, support ambitious reforestation endeavours, and advocate for sustainable lifestyles. In the heart of God’s own country Kerala, unlike traditional colleges, We Grow Forest College doesn’t have a campus of its own. Instead, it operated in a collaborative mode, partnering with universities, colleges, and educational institutions worldwide to offer sustainability and environment-related courses.
We Grow Forest College was born out of a collective desire to address the urgent environmental challenges facing our planet. Recognizing that traditional educational models were not enough, a group of visionary educators, environmentalists, and community leaders came together to create a new approach to sustainability education.
Recognized as a Carbon-Neutral Organization accredited by Environmental NGOs of India (ENGOI), the Foundation became a formidable force in the global fight against climate change. Aligned with India’s COP26 pledge to achieve carbon neutrality, they offered invaluable assistance to individuals, businesses, and organizations seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. Their commitment translated into practical projects aimed at climate protection, biodiversity preservation, and community upliftment, making a tangible impact on the ground.
Through strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions, We Grow Forest College leveraged the expertise and resources of established academic institutions to offer a diverse range of courses, workshops, and programs. From renowned research universities to local community colleges, each partner institution brought its unique strengths and perspectives to the table, enriching the educational experience for students.

Led by esteemed figures such as Dr. Meera Asmi as Chairwoman, Dr. Merin Jacob as Managing Trustee, and Anjali Asmi as Trustee, the members of We Grow Forest Foundation were driven by an unyielding passion to elevate their noble cause to new heights. Hence, in April 2021, We Grow Forest College was born. This educational platform was designed not only to impart knowledge but also to inspire action. Through innovative initiatives and engaging campaigns, the College aimed to cultivate a profound shift in societal behaviour towards sustainability.
From organizing workshops and seminars to conducting awareness classes in schools and colleges, We Grow Forest College emerged as a catalyst for change. Their green campaigns focused on tree planting and reducing collective carbon footprints, igniting a spark of environmental consciousness in students and corporate staff alike. With each sapling planted, they nurtured hope for a greener, more sustainable future.
